Leprosy is still one of the major public health problems in some developing countries. For centuries leprosy patients were turned out of their homes and isolated. Today we know that all persons diagnosed with leprosy could be treated and cured while leading a completely normal life. This book wants to help in better understanding the disease and its management so that every patient can have the benefit of early diagnosis and best possible treatment as quickly as possible.
