Xavier Sutter drives the Novartis Foundation’s strategy to design, scale, and influence innovative solutions to improve the health of low-income populations health.
Prior to joining the Novartis Foundation in January 2020, Xavier was strategic assistant to the People & Organization (P&O) Head of Global Drug Development at Novartis, where he actively collaborated on different cross-functional and divisional initiatives. One of his recent proud achievements was contributing to the global team responsible for operationalizing ‘Choice with Responsibility’ – a further symbol of the Novartis culture in action. Xavier joined Novartis in 2013. His curiosity and willingness to learn about the complexity of the industry helped him to build diverse experience with increasing responsibility. At Novartis, he also worked as clinical supply project manager, lead business integration manager.
Prior to Novartis, he worked as a project manager for Fisher Clinical Services and holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration from the London South Bank University (UK) and the Management School of Troyes (FR).
