The HealthTech Hub Africa  is a new health tech accelerator located at the Norrsken East Africa House in Kigali, Rwanda.

The Hub hosts 30 startups from 11 countries who can access the full community facilities in the house, access to a health tech network that will bring policymakers and entrepreneurs together to help innovations scale up rapidly, and an innovation program that includes capability-building opportunities, matchmaking with investors, mentorship and opportunities to test and validate their solutions in the health system.

Supported by the Novartis Foundation, in collaboration with the Norrsken Foundation, the hub is initially focusing on technologies that are helping in the fight against heart disease, breast cancer, and in developing virtual health and care.

The startups were chosen through an open competition, with the top five also winning financial support.
